Bakston Freight Systems Inc. is a Family-Owned LTL Freight Carrier established in October 2000 in St George, Utah. Founded by Darrell Baker and Jed Johnston, our company began by purchasing two trucks, four trailers, and providing a freight service between Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah. Bakston received its name and brand from the founders last names Baker and Johnston with a company motto of "We'll take a TON off your BAKS!". We are currently headquartered in St. George, Utah with locations in Cedar City, Salt Lake City, and Las Vegas, Nevada.
Our company provides overnight service between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, while ensuring to live up to our mission of going the extra mile for customers and treating them as family. We service nation-wide through our partner carriers while offering top of the line service with competitive rates. Bakston also provides all types of LTL logistical services including full trailer loads, LTL shipments, cross-dock work, liftgate services, hazmat, and white glove inside delivery. We take pride in treating our customers freight as if it was our own with a 99.9% claim free service. We do what we say we will, are professional, and treat others with respect.
